Aberdeen and Stonehaven Yacht Club (ASYC) offers dinghy sailing opportunities on both coastal and inland waters in the northeast of Scotland, with a competitive racing programme at both locations.

From March to the end of May the club sails on the freshwater Loch of Skene, 10 miles west of Aberdeen. At the beginning of June the club's activities move to the more challenging North Sea coastal waters  at Stonehaven, 15 miles south of Aberdeen, where sailing takes place until mid-November.

At Loch of Skene the club has the use of a gothic-style gate-house for Dunecht Estates, but the main clubhouse and boat parks are located on the harbour front at Stonehaven. Rescue cover is provided at both venues by club-owned RIB's, and the club runs RYA training courses in powerboat handling, and operates a junior training programme.
