The annual programme covers both competitive and non-competitive sailing from March to May at the Loch of Skene, and June to November at Stonehaven.

Access to the water at the Loch of Skene is conditional on rescue boat cover being available, and this is provided on Wednesday evenings during April and May, and on Saturday and Sunday afternoons (March - May).

At Stonehaven, rescue boat cover is provided on Wednesday evenings (June - mid-September), Saturday afternoons (June - mid-October), and Sunday afternoons (June - end-November).

The dinghy racing programme includes

• eight handicap series, three at the Loch of Skene and five at Stonehaven
• seven club regattas each comprising six races over a Saturday and Sunday, with class starts for Fireballs and Lasers, and general handicap, with an overall handicap-based trophy for some regattas.
• the annual open regatta at Stonehaven
• various other events : Pursuit Race and Golden Shackle at Loch of Skene, and the Catterline Race at Stonehaven

Saturday afternoons at Stonehaven during June and July are devoted to non-competitive sailing with rescue boat cover.

A junior and youth Teaching priogramme runs at the Loch of Skene on Saturday and Sunday mornings during April and May.

The annual handicap series are:

• Skene Saturday series,     March - May, in 2010: 18 races with 9 to count
• Skene Sunday series,       March - May, in 2010: 18 races with 9 to count
• Skene Wednesday series, April - May,   in 2010:   8 races with 4 to count

 

• Stonehaven Early Summer Sunday series,   June - July,                in 2010: 15 races with 8 to count
• Stonehaven Late Summer Saturday series, August - September,   in 2010: 12 races with 6 to count
• Stonehaven Late Summer Sunday series,   August - September,   in 2010: 12 races with 6 to count
• Stonehaven Autumn Sunday series,          October - November,   in 2010: 12 races with 6 to count
• Stonehaven Wednesday series,                June - September,      in 2010: 15 races with  8 to count
